Whats our purpose?

At DTE Print Shop, our stated mission is to help local businesses build their brands with custom printed apparel...that is out mission. But what's our real purpose for existing?

Does the World Need Another Print Shop?

Fair question. The world already has a ton of print shops. Do we really need one more?

The answer is 100% yes, (or else I wouldn't be writing this blog) but it needs a print shop that cares about the bigger picture.

Opportunities

At the core of DTE's purpose is to create opportunities. We know there are qualified people who never get the opportunity they deserve. We want to change that. That’s why we aim to provide jobs to creative individuals who want to grow, learn, and develop new skills.

Not every workplace cares about fostering talent. Some jobs feel like running on a hamster wheel—lots of movement, no real growth. At DTE, we’re building a team where people can grow and thrive, both in their professional work and their personal lives.

Community

For us, community service isn’t about writing checks, (cause we don't have a ton of money lol). What we can offer is our time and attention. Starting now, (Jan 1st, 2025) we are going to be doing volunteer work in the community. I'm not sure exactly what it is going to look like, but you can be sure we are going to contribute to our local community in tangible ways. Sustainability

We’re committed to sustainability. We recommend environmentally friendly garments, which cost pretty much the same as the alternatives and leave a much nicer impact on the world. These apparel options are comfortable, fashionable, and affordable. They also bring awareness to the consumers of this apparel that it is possible to make a difference in the environment just by making small changes. Helps make the world a little greener.

Purpose

So, does the world need another print shop? Yes, the world needs a print shop that cares. One that goes beyond profits to create real value for people and communities. That’s why DTE Print Shop exists.
